Water groups are a great idea

Here are free resources we have found usefull in the water groups we have assisted in getting clean water

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A WATER GROUP

Site Survey must accompany Zinwa application for drilling
Minimum stand size is 300sqm
All members must be listed on a zinwa registration
Plumbing is done in front of the house to avoid obstracting council water ways running behind houses

To guide members on water usage ,thereby avoiding misuse.. and depletion

ie a maximum monthly usage is advisable

For emergences as such as blocked plumbing, borehole maintenace etc. this amount could come from initial membership contribution

This avoids the blame game in case of future inadequecies of the system
